David had dreams of being the next Justin Timberlake. However, his years in college a cappella did not quite get him there. So he pursued the next best thing - creating a site where he could sing as his job.
David comes out of the media, entertainment and learning space. Prior to starting BreakoutBand, he was the Director of Online Learning Services and Business Development for Scholastic. He was formerly a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company, and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Go Heels!

Ben was raised by a pack of wolves. By 15 he escaped and fashioned his first computer program using only a pack of .10 gauge guitar strings and an empty box of Swedish Fish. His songs are better than Dave's.

Prashant wanted to be a guy who wanted to be the guy who wanted to be Prashant. In his spare time Prashant is working on to develop a Robot which writes musical symphonies so that we can replace of our music producers.

Peter took the traditional career path, from being a ski bum, to working with teens in a mental health hospital, to teaching math. This naturally led to computers where at Breakoutband he can combine his skills by having fun helping teens learn to sing.

Mike is a music industry veteran and Flex guru. After living as a nomad with the indigenous people of Nashville, he shed the traditions of a bygone era for a world of technology and a 4 string axe. Mike takes ideas and spins them into killer apps. And yes
